Dealing with Shame & Empathy by Dr. Brené Brown

Today a video from one of my favourite academics, Brené Brown, Ph.D., LMSW. She is a research professor at the University of Houston Graduate College of Social Work. Her topics of study include vulnerability, courage, authenticity, and shame. Her work has been featured on PBS, NPR, TED, and CNN. This is an excerpt from her new psycho-educational shame-resilience curriculum, Brené is a University of Houston researcher and educator. She discusses the destructive nature of shame and the healing power of empathy.
