A simple shift can make a world of difference.

If you are the kind of person who normally yells at somebody as a way of dealing with your anger, take a breath. As you do so, take a moment and focus on how you can respond well, rather than react. 

This is a process that will probably take you a few attempts to begin dealing with your anger in a healthy way. But over time you will find that it is a great option for dealing with your anger; it can help you build bridges rather than burn them.
