You Are Amazing By Stephanie Carfrae

Here is another post from contributor, Stephanie Carfrae. She is a Creative Writing Graduate; you can find her own blog at www.stephcarfrae.blogspot.co.uk and I think you will be inspired by Stephanie's first video on YouTube

‘I think you’re amazing,’ someone says to someone else, but it doesn’t matter who, because they’re all amazing really. People are amazing.’ An insightful quotation from David Nicholls in his amazing book One Day.

And it’s so true.

Whether your wings are still forming, you’re still metamorphosing or your wings are fledging, or you’ve already taken flight, YOU ARE amazing.

Always believe that. Even when the world seems to have turned its back on you, there is a star somewhere shining for you. Always have the confidence to believe that. Because YOU ARE worth it.

Anybody who tells you that you aren’t are merely jealous because they want to be who you are, or they are pessimists.

When you know that you are worth it, you find things that seemed impossible aren’t as terrifying.

It is a hard thing to do. I still remember how hard it was to convince myself of this fact. I do deserve things to get better. And that took a long time. I had to keep reminding myself and still do sometimes.

But YOU DO TOO. You deserve all the happiness in the world.

‘It’s better to have a short life that is full of what you like doing than a long life spent in a miserable way.’ A quotation from http://www.upworthy.com/something-every-teacher-should-watch-and-student-and-person?g=2 If you have the time, I encourage you to watch this, because it is beneficial to all.

And just because someone says you won’t make any money that way, doesn’t mean you won’t. Like if someone says you can’t be happy if you live like that, just show them that you can and you will.

I don’t know your situation, but I am sure that there is someone who you’d like to prove something to. So why not?

Go do what you want to do. Because life only comes around once. ‘Die with memories, not with dreams.’

A Lakota Peyote Healing Song by Robbie Robertson

A Lakota Peyote Healing Song by Robbie Robertson YouTube is full of music that claims to be Native American from North America and usually it isn't. It may be quite beautiful music but it is not what it claims to be. And in my view it does not have the same power.  This is authentic, beautiful and powerful Singer, song writer and guitarist Robbie Robertson was born Jaime Robert Klegerman in 1943, in Toronto, Ontario. He was born to a Jewish father and a Mohawk mother and took his stepfather's last name after his mother remarried. He had his earliest exposure to music at Six Nations of the Grand River First Nation , Ontario where he spent summers with his mother's family. He is best known for his membership in The Band. Here is a translation of the words
