Confidence is Key

Confidence is Key

Keep smiling when times are tough. How many times have you been told that? Countless times no doubt. Well, you know what? They might just be onto something.

Smiles release endorphins that cause happiness and I have actually tried this when I was feeling low (it happens to us all) and it made me feel better. At the time I had a headache and wasn't feeling very positive about life. So I tried smiling to see if what they said was actually true. And I can confirm it. It didn't work instantly but my headache soon wore off and I was pretty much back to the old positive me.

At these time you just need to refocus the lenses on happiness. Just smiling and focusing all my energy on that helped me. It could help you too so give it a go.

What do you have confidence in? Very few people have confidence in who they are as a person. Why do you hear of some people and not of others? Because they had the confidence to keep doing what they're doing even when the world said 'stop'.

Having belief in yourself is massive.

When the hurdles are too big for you to jump over, if you believe in yourself you'll be able to tackle it perhaps only moving a brick at a time but you'll get there. Whereas if you don't, you'll come to a halt in front of the big hurdle with no way around it. The thing about life is it's always better to be moving.

We all feel particularly insecure in the middle of life changes.  But energy drainers are usually people who are insecure and negative in their everyday life!   Quite often they find it difficult to tolerate their own company. You may find people like this start to depend upon you to help them make all kinds of relatively simple life decisions.  They may phone or text you several times a day on any pretext – they can eat you, as well as y...
