Situations/catastrophes happen in your life so you can do the same. And although you may not think it at the time, these things occur to make you stronger. And nothing ever happens in the same way again. She is a Creative Writing Graduate; you can find her own blog at  www.stephcarfrae.blogspot.co.uk  and I think you will be inspired by Stephanie's  first video on YouTube    Yesterday I got a bit of news that could have shattered me into pieces but I understood that there was nothing I could do about it and I accepted it. That’s the big word here: Acceptance. Once you figure that there’s nothing you can do to stop some events coming and when it comes it’s easier to jump and accept. This is like bad things that happen in your life or life generally. No one can stop them from coming, and sometimes you’ll look back and see how much you’ve grown since said incident. Of course, this I not true of most things in life; you can change your route accordingly but for those you can do nothing about, don’t feel bad because everybody has been (or will be) in that position.
